THE WINDERS MARRY IN VERMONT
|
MONTGOMERY, VERMONT, July 7, 2001 -- At 5 p.m. on a perfect summer day in Vermont, Anthony Robert Winders and Valen Lean Hill were married. The blushing bride wore an ivory Jessica McClintock strapless dress and carried a bouquet of pink and cream roses. The dashing groom wore a Hugo Boss evening suit and tie. The ceremony included the groom performing a piano piece, "Fur Elise," for his mother. Bells rang as the bride entered the church on her father's arm to join her groom. The sun- stricken stain glass of the 200 year old church, paled in comparison to the smiles on the faces of the family as the couple exchanged their vows and shared their first kiss as husband and wife. The Winders exited the church to bubbles and toasted with a glass of champagne. After many pictures in a green meadow, the couple joined their guests at the Black Lantern Inn to dine in candlelight on filet and salmon. The three tiered white chocolate and vanilla wedding cake filled with raspberry and cream topped off the wedding reception. Before the couple kicked off their shoes for the night, they danced to "I Hope You Dance" by Lea Ann Womack. The newlyweds live in Santa Monica, Calif. # # # |
